"Situated next to the West Moreton Anglican College at Karrabin, West Moreton Community Kindergarten will be offering in 2013, a two day program, with a choice of Monday & Tuesday (Blue Group) or Thursday & Friday (Green Group). Twenty children attend each day and form a stable group of friends of the same age, whom they learn to know and trust. Session times are 8.00am to 3.30pm.
We are a registered provider for the Child Care Benefit and parents can
claim Kindergarten fees if
they are eligible. There is a Health Care Card subsidy for children and parents that hold a current Health Care Card.
Qualified Early Childhood teachers and assistants are employed and
continuing professional development is a priority with all staff at the
Centre. The Kindergarten is well equipped and the program is enriched
by the use of College resources such as the library and farm. Parents
are also encouraged to be involved through day-to-day contact with
staff, participating in the program and voluntary membership of the
Kindergarten’s management committee.
