"Situated next to the West Moreton Anglican College at Karrabin, West Moreton Community Kindergarten will be offering in 2011 a five day fortnight, with a choice of Monday and Tuesday with alternating Wednesday which is our Blue group, or Thursday and Friday with alternating Wednesday which is our Green group. Twenty children attend each day and form a stable group of friends of the same age, whom they learn to know and trust. Session times are 9.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. The Kindergarten is unique in the Ipswich area as we offer “Before and After” Kindergarten Care outside these hours.

We are a registered provider for the Child Care Benefit and parents can claim both Kindergarten and Before and After Kindergarten Care fees if they are eligible.

Qualified Early Childhood teachers and assistants are employed and continuing professional development is a priority with all staff at the Centre. The Kindergarten is well equipped and the program is enriched by the use of College resources such as the library and farm. Parents are also encouraged to be involved through day-to-day contact with staff, participating in the program and voluntary membership of the Kindergarten’s management committee.
